According to a survey published last week by the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce economics division for the first half of 2006 trade and services product totaled NIS 125.1 billion in the first half of 2006, NIS 16.7 billion more compared to the first half of 2005.
The survey, which was prepared by Ms. Israela Many, economics division head at the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, indicates that in the first half of 2006, trade and services product accounted for 66% of business product.
The detailed survey also noted that in the first half of 2006: Industrial product increased by 5.4%, or NIS 2.2 billion, to NIS 42 billion; Commerce, catering and accommodation services product increased by 9%; Financial and business services product increased by 20%; Transport, storage and telecommunications services product rose by 9.2%,
