The Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce ( FICC ) petitioned last Monday the National Labor Court against the possible renewal of the Histadrut Trade Union Federation's general strike.

The Histadrut alleged that local authorities employees who were supposed to be paid two weeks ago had not been paid. FICC’s national labor court petition was in response to a petition by the Histadrut asking the court that an injunction against the strike be declared void.
 
FICC’s labor court petition pointed out that, “The Histadrut is not acting in good faith and permits itself to take the law into its own hands".
