The Governor of the Bank of Israel Prof. Stanley Fischer has kept the interest rate for July unchanged at 3.25%, after raising it by 25 basis points last month.
The decision was in line with the unanimous expectations by analysts.
The Central Bank decision is consistent with process of returning the interest rate to a more normal range intended to position inflation firmly within the target range.
