During January-July 2005, India-Israel two-way trade increased by 21.04% over the corresponding period in 2004, from $ 1261.1 million in 2004 to $ 1526.4 million in 2005.

During this period, Indian exports to Israel increased by 24.2% from $ 635.9 million in 2004 to $ 789.8 million in 2005. Israeli exports to India also increased by 17.82%, from $ 625.2 million in 2004 to $ 736.6 million in 2005. Share of India’s exports in Israel’s global imports increased from 2.81% in 2004 to 3.03% in 2005.

Minister Kamal Nath, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, will visit Israel on November 10, 2005 and will be a Guest Speaker at the Prime Minister’s Conference for Export & International Cooperation”, which will be held in Tel Aviv.
