The research and economic department of the Manufacturers Association of Israel ( MAI ) issued last week a prediction that within 10 years industrial sales will grow by 65% to $105 billion a year.
The prediction assumes 5% growth a year, which the Manufacturers Association president Shraga Brosh said was inadequate.
Brosh said in a press release that “With a small effort, industry can achieve annual 9% growth in industrial sales in 2015 to $155 billion, including $104 billion in exports, if the government carries out a series of measures to encourage industry.”
The research and economic department of the MAI also predicted that the proportion of total industrial exports of high - tech will increase from the current 48% to 57% in 2015.
