Israeli Motor Vehicles Importers Association: Car sales steady

According to the report, Hyundai continues to lead the importers list
 
The Israeli Motor Vehicles Importers Association reported last week that on the basis of licensing statistics, 38,638 cars were delivered in Israel in January - February 2012, a slight fall of about 0.5% from the corresponding period last year.
 
In February, 18,444 new cars were delivered, similar to that of February 2011.
 
According to the report, Hyundai continues to lead the importers list with 6,178 vehicles, up 45% over the corresponding period last year. In second place Ford with 4,155 deliveries, up 125% over the corresponding period last year. Kia in third place with 3,841 deliveries, up 27%. In fourth place Toyota with 3,036 vehicles, a drop of 21%. In fifth place is Mazda with only 2,254 deliveries, a drop of 56% over the corresponding period last year.
