Figures published last week by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) point to the fact that seasonally adjusted unemployment figures for March 2008 show a 1.9% rise in the number of unemployed, compared with February.
The CBS also noted that the number of unemployed persons without a higher degree was up by 1.5%.
