The new trade agreement between the state of Israel and the kingdom of Jordan was signed late last month.
The Israeli delegation headed by H.E. Mr. Ehud Ulmert the Israeli minister for industry & trade and the Jordanian delegation headed by Jordan’s deputy prime minister & minister for trade Dr. Halieka signed the trade agreement with the hope that the new pact will benefit mutual relations in general and trade relations in particular.
Mr. Ulmart emphasized in the signing ceremony that the potential now created by the new agreement will not only assist Jordanian industry to increase its exports to Israel but also to increase dramatically the Jordanian exports to the enlarged European community.
Mr. Ulmart noted in his speech words said by Mr. Barnes, deputy US Foreign Secretary who said that the increase of Jordanian exports to the USA of over us$600 was mainly due to the triangle, QIZ , trade agreement between the USA, Israel and Jordan.
