According to figures published last week by the Israel Export Institute ( IEI ), Israel's plastics and rubber exports to Arab countries rose by 10% in 2004 to $34 million.
According to the Export Institute most exports comprised consumer products, agricultural products, plastic packaging, irrigation, plastic building products, plastic medical products.
The IEI noted that total plastics and rubber sales last year rose by 10% to $3.21 billion.
Domestic sales rose by 4.7% to $.161 billion, and exports, mainly to Europe, grew by 16% to $1.6 billion.
