During a recent trade event held in Romania to strengthen economic and cultural ties between Israeli companies and the Romanian ones, the Ambassador of Israel to Romania, Dan Ben-Eliezer noted that relations between Romania and Israel are excellent.
 
The Ambassador noted that Israel is defined as a strategic partner of Romania and that Romania is perceived as a strategic partner of Israel and that the two countries share the same values.

Yifat Inbar, Economic and Trade Attache of the Israeli Embassy in Romania noted that the bilateral trade between Romania and Israel in 2010 amounted to US$427 million dollars. Israel's investment in Romania is US$3 billion dollars.
 
The event was organized by Marketing Tactics firm and its partners, the event 'Country Focus: March in Israel' brought together representatives of the Romanian-Israeli business environment, managers, entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of embassies and bilateral Chambers of Commerce.
 
The event is part of a series of business events organized in partnership with embassies in Romania and designed as a platform for dialogue between foreign businessmen and the Romanian entrepreneurs.
