Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reported last week that Israel's foreign trade deficit narrowed to US$1.04 billion in February 2013 from US$1.81 billion a year earlier but widened from US$1.01 billion in January 2013.
The CBS noted that on a seasonally adjusted basis, Israel's trade deficit excluding ships, aircraft and diamonds, in February was US$1.3 billion.
The CBS noted that for the first two months of the year, Israel posted a trade deficit of US$2.05 billion, compared with US$3.89 billion a year earlier.
