United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) which began operating in Israel in 1994, marked last week its 20 years of operation in Israel.
UPS commenced its Israeli service through O.P.S.I. (International Forwarding) Ltd, an Authorized Service Contractor for UPS, under the trademarks and work methods of the global company.
In Israel, OPSI offers a full range of import, export and domestic services of the highest standard. Beginning July 2010 UPS in Israel also handles air freight and ocean freight.
With the merger of freight and courier, OPSI has become the only company in Israel that offers all delivery solutions under one roof. The company has a staff of 900 employees, offers 6 weekly flights, 5 branches, 2 out port offices, 2 logistics centers and 175 brown delivery trucks.
