The USA remains firmly in the first place with exports reaching US$18.9 billion, an increase of 5% compared to 2006
 
Yechiel Assia, Director General of Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute, said last week that Turkey returned last year (2007) to the list of Israel's ten largest export markets.
Assia added that China dropped to the 13th place compared to 2006 where it had been listed in the 10th place.
 
The list of the ten largest export markets consist of:
The USA was firmly in the first place with exports reaching US$18.9 billion, an increase of 5% compared to 2006. Belgium in the second place with US$4.1 billion, an increase of 33% compared to 2006. Hong Kong in the third place – US$3.1 billion, up 12%, followed by Britain US$2 billion, up 22% Germany US$1.92 billion, Holland in the sixth place – US$1.6 billion and India in the seventh place with US$1.6 billion, an increase of 25% compared to 2006.
France in the eighth place with US$ 1.3 billion, up 22%, followed by Italy US$ 1.3 billion and Turkey   in the tenth place with US$1.2 billion, up 49%.
2008 marks the tenth anniversary of Israel's bilateral trade agreement with Turkey.
