In a press release issued last week Mr. Uriel Lynn, president of the Tel Aviv Chamber of Commerce advised that the Chamber's board of directors approved the nomination of Mr. Yehezkel Daskal (57 ) to the post of director general of the Chamber.
Mr. Daskal will begin his term on September 1st, he will replace former director general Mr. Yossi Shostak who left the Chamber at the end of January this year.
For the last three years Mr. Daskal has been deputy director general at the Israel Port Authority responsible for manpower and headed, during the ports' reform, the joint committee which dealt with port workers' employment structure in the new port companies.
Prior to his job at the Israel port authority Daskal was deputy director general of the Israel Airport Authority and played a major role in the planning and building of the new passenger terminal.
