The Israel Motor Vehicles Importers Association (IMVIA) reported that January 2015 vehicle deliveries totaled a record-breaking 33,360, 23% more than in January 2014.

Three brands considered strong in the leasing market stood out in January deliveries: Hyundai with 4,399 deliveries, Mazda with 3,328, and Kia Motors with 3,281. Toyota was in fourth place with 3,045 deliveries, followed by Mitsubishi in fifth place with 2,294 deliveries and Skoda in sixth with 2,100 deliveries.

The luxury brands also did well in January, after many customers waited for the 2015 models. Audi delivered 901 units in a single month, almost 40% of all of its deliveries in 2014. Mercedes delivered a record 550 units, and BMW put 408 new cars on the road.
