Qoros Auto Co, made its Geneva Motor Show debut with the unveiling of a new sedan and two concept cars.

The Qoros 3 Sedan, which is entering a pre-production development phase after two summers and two winters of extensive testing at key locations around the world, is due to be launched in China in the second half of 2013, with first European sales followinglater in the year.

Yearly ouput of the 3 Sedan, which will be produced in a new assembly plant located in Changshu, China, could initially reach about 150,000 cars, rising to a potential maximum volume of 450,000.

Aiming to appeal to discerning European buyers, Qoros is claiming its new saloon will feature high levels of technology and receive maximum ratings in Euro NCAP safety tests.

The new vehicle will feature an eight-inch touchscreen system with displays designed for minimal driver distraction. The system is equipped with an advanced navigation system and extensive social networking connectivity and allows the driver to monitor the car's "health," enabling him or her to truly determine when service is needed.
