The Israel airport authority which manages all Israel's border crossings with its neighboring countries; Egypt and Jordan, announced last week that Maman Group won a four years contract to operate the Karni border crossing, Israel's main crossing point with the Gaza strip.
The Karni facility is a key crossing point for goods entering Gaza, which is largely isolated behind heavily fortified fences patrolled by Israeli troops.
The Maman Group, which specializes in providing ground handling services for cargo and passengers at Israel's airports, as well as the full range of logistics services within Israel and abroad, is one of Israel's leading logistic providers.
Maman's services are provided by an extensive logistics infrastructure, advanced information technology systems, and highly skilled and experienced employees.
Mr. Eli Dalal, Maman's director General said that his company will do it's best to reach the service goals set by the Airport Authority.
