Amir Shani elected head of Israel's Freight Forwarders Federation

The annual assembly of the Israeli Federation of International Freight Forwarders and Customs Clearing Agents (IFFCCA) elected Amir Shani as Federation chairman for the next two years. Shani has replaced Mr. Shlomo Sharon who served as IFFCCA's chairman during the past four years.
 
The annual assembly also elected five new board members: Mr.Sharon Sufrin, Sufrin Customs Clearing Ltd, Mr. Yoav Eli, Avi Ad Logistics, Mr. MichaelMugrabi, Peltransport Ltd, Mr. Ronen Azulai, Orian Ltd. and Mr. Shlomo Sharon, UTi Israel.
 
Shani was born in Tel-Aviv (1955) to the late Co-founder of the Amit Group: A. Shani. He Joined the Amit Group at 1977 and worked his way up through every professional position there.
 
Shani did an apprenticeship at Panalpina World Transport (1979) and graduated the Lahav Program for Management Marketing & Advertising in Tel-Aviv University (1984). That brought him forward to the management position. He is both a licensed Customs Broker anda licensed Forwarder in Israel. Alongside his position as Group Co-Managing Director, Shani serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee as a board member of the Tel Aviv Chamber of Commerce.
