Joint Transport international services Ltd. (JTI) signed up with an exclusive partner in Italy, through the appointment of Fercam Transporti S.r.l. Fercam is one of Italy's largest privately-owned independent freight and logistics operators.
With a fleet of over 2,000 trailers, the company has some 32 offices throughout Italy with its key terminals located at Bolzano, Bologna, Florence/Prato, Milan, Rome, Padova, Turin and Verona.
The signing of the exclusive partner agreement allows Joint Transport to widen its basket of services to the Israeli market and offer wide range of marine & air services to clients in Italy as well as high quality distribution services within the Italian market.
Mr. Louis Piroyansky, Joint Transport's operational director noted that Fercam is a well established freight forwarding & logistic company in Italy which over the years has gained high reputation within the Italian freight forwarding sector.
The signing ceremony was held a few days ago in the presence of Fercam' president Mr. Thomas Baumgartner, Mr. Giovanni Mundo- Fercam's Air & Ocean Freight Division Italy - Director, Mr. Jacky Elazar- Joint Transport director general& Mr. Louis Piroyansky- Joint Transport's deputy director general & operational director.
Joint Transport international services Ltd.is one of Israel's oldest freight forwarders. The company was set up in 1972 and is owned by Zim Integrated Shipping Services.
