Mr. David Bayne, ports and terminals expert, former senior manager of P&O Ports will arrive in Israel next week for theport2port 2007International Logistics & Transportation Conference & Exhibition which will be held on the 13th and 14th of February at the Avenue Convention Center, Airport City, Lod.
Bayne, an international port consultant, was senior director in several leading shipping companies as well as a writer for Drewry Shipping in London.
Bayne ended recently the writing of a research paper "World Container Terminals: Global Growth and Private Profit" published by Drewry.
Bayne will lecture on the ports Landlord model, during the second session of the conference which will be dedicated to "Israeli Ports - The Vision and the Reality". The session will be moderated by Mr. Arie Rona, Manager, Israel's Shipping & Ports Administration.
