John Mullen, head of DHL Express' global operations visited Israel last week for the inauguration of DHL's Israel new offices. For Mullen, who was born in 1955 and is a member of DHL's Board of Management since 2005, the visit to Israel is the first.
 
Mr. Mullen was joined by Mr. Ken Allen head of DHL's EMA (Emerging Markets).
 
DHL Israel moved to its new state of the art two stories building covering 3,500 sq.m. office area and 2,000 sq.m. operational and sorting area. The office which was purposely built to cater for the company's growing network of services is located at Airport City, a new and modern logistic park near Tel Aviv airport.

Mullen said in the inauguration ceremony that he was honored to visit Israel and noted that DHL's Israel operation is one of the most successful areas routing as many as 1 million items a year.
