'Days of Israel', an event that was held in cooperation with the Cyprus - Israel Business Association and the Cyprus - Israel Friendship Association with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor of Israel and the Ministry of Tourism of Israel from the 14th May – 18th May 2005, ended with an outstanding success.
Newlog, one of Israel's largest freight forwarding company, was handed with the logistic task of moving the exhibits from Israel to Cyprus.
'Days of Israel' included a gala dinner on the 14th of May at the Hawaii hotel in Limassol with Israeli food& wine prepared by well known chefs from Israel.
In addition a commercial exhibition with 15 participants from Israel and performances by the Hora Pardes Hana folkloric dance group.
In addition, business meetings were arranged for the participants and a presentation was held by the Ministry of Tourism of Israel for Cypriot tour operators and travel agents entitled "How to turn the destination into a product".
Shirly Danieli, in charge of Newlog's exhibition department, who supervised the logistics side of the event noted that the company had widened its exhibition services to Israeli exhibitors.
Newlog, according to Daniali is in a position to offer a one – stop - shop to all exhibition requirements including: flights and hotel accommodation arrangements, preparation of exhibition stands as well as publicity.
