“Orian –Agish” is the name of a newly created company set up by two Israeli large freight forwarders and customs clearing agents.
 
In a press  release issued by both companies, the managements said that “both companies have together over 100 years of experience in customs clearing and freight forwarding and that the decision to join forces was made through strength and through forward looking and good understanding of market trends.
 
Both companies have solid base in the Israeli market, both are profitable and by the creation of a larger company both will gain from the economy of larger scale.”
It is understood that the joint company will try to offer a range of new services to existing and new customers.
 
Mr. Yariv Posner, Orian’s deputy director for sales emphasized that the size of the new company will have a better opportunity to exploit the strategic links Orian’s has with Schenker which is one of the largest logistic multinational with a turnover of over euro 6.5 billion, 1,100 offices worldwide and 36,000 employees round the world.
 
The new company will be managed by Orian’s Managing Director Mrs Nora Siperman and Agish’s Deputy  Managing Director Mr. Shlomo Shaul, as Deputy Director General.
