Orian ltd., one of Israel’s major logistics services providers and a leader in the field, announced last week the adoption of Israel's Olympic bronze medalist and European champions Shachar Tzuberi.

Israeli windsurfer Shachar Tzubari won Israel’s first medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The Israeli windsurfer won the bronze in the final race of the men’s windsurfing competition, giving Israel’s its seventh Olympic medal of all time.

Within the framework of the adoption agreement Orian will provide the medalist a monthly financial support plus bonuses to enable Tzubari conduct professional preparation routine up to the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Yariv Pozner, Orian's Vice President Marketing and Sales, said following the signing ceremony that the support of such nature has always been part of Orian's vision to bring sport closer to the business community.

Pozner added that for Orian, whose business partner is DB Schenker Logistics the support is highly symbolic since DB Schenker Logistics is the official logistic provider of the Olympic games.
