Peltransport is launching a new export/import airfreight service between Israel and Europe that combines courier service with international forwarding
The new service has the advantages of courier service with short transit time and all-in-all price with international forwarding that has a personal touch and cheaper costs.
The advantages for this pricing method is that rates are calculated by the weight (Kg) according to the destination/origin of the shipment, which allows simple and fast price evaluation.
The price include all costs and expenses for door-to-door service or from airport-to-door service – according the customer’s choice. The price also includes land transportation in Israel and abroad, Maman costs, customs handling and air transportation – basically all costs except for insurance, tax and unpredictable expenses.
The company reports that the new service is with European countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Norway, Greece, Belgium, Finland, Denmark and Switzerland.
Shai Mugrabi, sales and marketing executive at Peltransport, said: “We believe that this service will gradually replace traditional forwarding services which include different pricing for every action such as air transportation, port costs, custom handling, land transportation and so on”.
Peltransport, with its exclusive agent through international ABX Logistics, will handle export shipments starting with collecting it from the exporters' warehouses in Israel, through air transportation to Europe until final delivery to the customer, and in import – from the moment it is collected from the supplier in Europe until it arrives at the importer’s warehouse in Israel.
The land transportation in Europe is being handled by Euro-Cargo, the land transportation unit of ABX Logistics in Europe, which consists of more than 3,000 trucks that visit more than 1,000 direct designations every day.
