In an event held in Kibbutz Hulda ,Amit unveiled its new logo and also celebrated its 50 years of cooperation with the logistics leader, Panalpina. Representing Panalpina was Volker Boehringer, Regional CEO Europe/Middle east.
According to Mr. Amir Shani, joint managing director of Amit, the rebranding project's main goal was to strengthen the name of Amit and to emphasize the strong connection to the logistics giant Panalpina. "This cooperation allows the Amit group to offer a wide range of advanced global logistic services".
Amir Shani said during the event: "We and our global partners go hand in hand for fifty years. One of our clearest messages to our customers is the Swiss reliability with the Israeli authenticity. With all that said, our strongest and most valuable asset is in this room, it is all of you who make it happen every day".
Joint Managing Director Ron Berry added: " After 50 years of close cooperation, Amit is proud to be one of its most predominant agents. Rebranding is like a new book. The book cover depicts the messages while the content is inside. On the cover is our message - Swiss reliability with Israeli authenticity; personal responsibility, integrated professionalism and proactiveness. We invest our sole in to the job ".
The participants enjoyed an evening of competition in the spirit of the television reality show Master Chef. After the competition they all feasted on the culinary delights they cooked and enjoyed a stand up show with the comedian Rami Vered.
Panalpina is the fourth largest logistics group world wide providing advanced solutions to key industries such as Oil and Gas, Healthcare, Fashion and Retail, Automotive and Hi-tech.
