UPS' Authorized Service Contractor in Israel, OPSI (International Handling) Ltd, reported last week the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art NIS10 million logistic facility.
UPS' new cargo facility in Israel is located at Shoham near Ben-Gurion international airport. The facility stretches over 5000 sq.m. and is equipped with top of the line technology.
The new facility which will focus on serving businesses in the center of the country is designed to address shippers' needs including reliability, speed, andservice quality.
Mr. Lior Sagi, director general of OPSI, said in a press release that the new facility is the first step the company has made since taking over the local representation of UPS SCS (UPS Supply Chain Solutions INC).
Sagi noted that the new division UPS SCS will act as one-stop logistics provider and help companies make smarter decisions throughout the supply chain cycle so they can streamline costs and operate more efficiently.
