The international logistics event which is organized in close co-operation with the Israeli logistic sector has already created an unprecedented interest in Israel and abroad.
The first International Logistics & Transportation Conference & Exhibition sponsored by the Israeli transportation ministry will be held on the 13th and 14th of February at one of the most modern conference and exhibition facilities in Israel – Avenue Convention Center, Airport City, Lod.
The event which is organized in close co-operation with the Israeli logistic sector has already created an unprecedented interest in Israel and abroad.
One major objective of the International Logistics & Transportation Conference & Exhibition is to enable both local and foreign providers & investors in transportation and logistics to identify opportunities in Israel.
Mr. Shaul Mofaz Israel's Minister of Transport sent last week invitations to dozens of transport ministers asking them to head delegations of transport and logistic experts to visit Israel during the February 2007 event.
Mr. Gideon Siterman director general of the ministry of transport said last week that the port2port 2007 event has two major objectives: to introduce Israel's logistic capabilities as well as update local businessmen with the latest in the world of transport, in general, and the latest developments in the supply chain and their influence on the activities of ports, shipping companies, forwarders and courier services
The organizers port2port and Globus Gate Group expect many visitors from Israel and abroad.
The event is sponsored by the Israeli port sector, Zim integrated shipping company, Maersk Line, FedEx Express, the Allalouf group, Kuehne + Nagel Israel, Carmel International Shipping Services Ltd, El Al and and many others.
The conference is organized with the full cooperation of the Ministry of Transport. Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor, Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Chamber of Shipping, Israel Shippers Council, Israeli Federation of Freight Forwarders and Customs Clearing Agents, Israel – America Chamber of Commerce and Peres Peace Center.
