The new service departs Haifa to Port Said on a fix (Monday morning) day and departs Port Said on Thursday
Tiran Shipping (1997) Ltd., local ship agents for APL ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-based Neptune Orient Lines, announced last week that APL has began offering upgraded shipping service from Haifa to NY with fast transit time of 14 days.
The new service departs Haifa to Port Said on a fix day (Monday morning) and departs Port Said on Thursday. In a press release Tiran Shipping noted that the new seamless service is the shortest service from Haifa to East Coast USA.
The statement also noted that USA bound cargo is transported on board the US flag vessel APL BALBOA. The vessel arrives NY on Monday and continues to Charleston, Savannah and Norfolk. Transit time to Charleston 16 days, Savannah 17 days and Norfolk 19 days.
