Allalouf & Co. Shipping Ltd., one of the largest shipping agencies in its spheres of activity in Israel and one of the longest-established companies in the Israeli shipping sector, informed the shipping public of its upgraded direct service from North Europe to Israel.
In a press release issued last week the company noted that beginning in February 2011 Iscont Lines, a dedicated container liner service, serving Israeli ports and North European ports will offer direct weekly call to the port of Hamburg.
The new schedule will be Antwerp – Rotterdam – Hamburg - Felixstowe (UK) – Alexandria – Ashdod - Haifa. Iscont provides a weekly fixed-day direct service with both regular 20ft and 40ft, reefer containers and specialized equipment.
