Statistical data published by the port of Ashdod show that during the first six months, the port of Ashdod handled TEU 526,421 compared to TEU 422,563 in the corresponding period, up 25%. The port unloaded full TEU 238,251 compared to TEU 186,496 in the parallel, representing an increase of 28%. The port loaded TEU 109,881 compared to TEU 79,062 in the parallel, representing an increase of 39%.
In tonnage terms, during the first six months the port of Ashdod handled 9.602 million tons, representing an increase of 43% compared to the parallel, 6.697 million tons.
In the motor vehicle sector the port noted an unusual increase of 68,044 motor vehicles compared to 34,632 representing an increase of 96% compared to the parallel.

In terms of passengers the port registered 92,739 passengers compared to 39,158 in the parallel, representing an increase of 137%.
