M.A.E management on behalf of Agrexco have reached a Slot Agreement with messes Borchard London on Agrexco's vessels Carmel Ecofresh and Carmel Biotop in which Borchard will purchase space equivalent to 100 TEUs ‘between Marseilles-Israel-Marseilles only.
The Slot Agreement will commence 1st November 2005, however Borchard will have the option to commence loading as of 1st September 2005.
The agreement is a long term one and it will allow the continuation of the precise weekly service on a fixed day to all ports.
Borchard \ MAE vessels will maintain calling other west med ports.
Agrexco Agricaltural Export Co. Ltd, the leading Israeli exporter of fresh produce, ofers, under the commercial and operational management of AMA Associated Maritime Agencies Ltd, a weekly frequency service, calling the ports of Ashdod, Marseilles, Valencia, Genova, Haifa.
The service is operated with 2 sophisticated multipurpose ships: Carmel Biotop and Carmel Ecofresh, each with refrigareted capacity of 4300 pallets, a container capacity of 850 TEUs and 150 reefer plugs.
