In line with its global strategy to get closer to the customer, Maersk Line has upgraded the role of the senior executive responsible for customer relations with the appointment of Country Commercial Manager.

Maersk Israel announced that Mr. Yaron Katz will assume the role of Country Commercial Manager, Maersk Israel Ltd.
Mr. Yaron Katz, 42, has substantial shipping and management experience in the operational and commercial areas. He has been with the shipping industry for 18 years, 10 of which, with the A.P. Moller-Maersk group, in Israel and abroad.
Mr. Katz will assume his new role in a few weeks, upon his return to Israel, from Hong-Kong where he currently holds a senior executive position, in the Maersk Line China organization.
Prior to that, he has held senior executive positions with Maersk Line Africa, and as Ashdod Branch Manager, in Maersk Israel.
