The 201 cbm cargo unit, which had been loaded on a 50' Mafi trailer is the first of its kind to be shipped to Israel as part of the new Intel production facility being erected at Kiryat Gat
 
Extremely large and sensitive piece of cargo was unloaded early last week at Ashdod port from the Grimaldi Ro/Ro vessel M/V Grande Ellada.
 
The 201 cbm cargo unit, which had been loaded on a 50' Mafi trailer, is the first of its kind to be shipped to Israel as part of the new Intel production facility being erected at Kiryat Gat.
 
The outsized cargo began its round the world trip from New York on board an ACL (Atlantic Container Line, roro-operator)ׁvessel and was trans-shipped at Antwerp on M/V Grande Ellada.
 
Messers Allalouf & Co. Shipping Ltd, Grimaldi's agents in Israel said that four more similar units were due to arrive in Israel in the forthcoming weeks.
 
M/VGrande Ellada  is one of Grimaldi's multipurposes Ro/Ro shipwhich regularly operates in Grimaldi's Euromed service.
