Haifa Port made its first clients' presentation last week (13/04/2005) during which the port managementunvield plans to attract more clients.
 
Haifa Port inugurated a range of new services it is able to offer port users.
The new service package includes:

- real-time updating twice a day of the whereabouts of all ships and containers in the port. emails listing the port's daily schedule.

- 24-hour SMS update on a particular cargo container's status.

- The provision of list of vessels awaiting berth.

Mr. Amos Uzani the port managing director reiterated the port attitude towards Port users as being much more than providing services to "customers". True partnership with Port users through mutual desire to improve services and minimize damages through the entire length of the "service chain".
