Haifa port company Ltd. handled TEU 101,000, Ashdod port company Ltd. handled TEU 89,000. Eilat port company unloaded 11,034 vehicles
Data released last week by the Israeli Shipping and Ports Authority (S&PA)noted that during November 2010 Israeli ports handled TEU 189,000.
Haifa port company Ltd. handled TEU 101,000, Ashdod port company Ltd. handled TEU 89,000. TEU 94,000 were unloaded at both ports and TEU 95,000 were loaded.
The four Israeli ports handled a total of 3.546million tons of cargo. Haifa handled1.7million tons, Ashdod 1.5 million, Eilat 227,000 tons andIsrael Shipyards Ltd (ISL) 79,000 tons. In total the ports unloaded 2 million tons and loaded 1.5 million.
26,712motor vehicles were handled during November. Eilat port company unloaded 11,034vehicles, Ashdod 15,640vehicles and Haifa 38.
