Jochanan Wallach, manager of Israel & Near East Area office at Zim Integrated Shipping Services has been nominated director general of Newlog, Zim's logistic provider. Newlog's current managing director Mr. Shaul Ramon will replace Wallach as manager of Near East Area.
Wallach has been a board member of Newlog for a long period of time during which time he has gained wide experience in the freight forwarding sector. Sources in the industry have noted that his wide shipping experience will assist in his efforts to promote Newlog in the Israeli freight forwarding sector.
Mr. Shaul Ramon has been with Newlog since 2002 and previously was director general of IFCO. Newlog is the second largest freight forwarding and customs brokerage firm in Israel employing 340 highly experienced staff and has offices at the three main Israeli maritime gateways, airport and border crossings.
