Maersk's subsidiary Seago Line, a short-sea carrier that operates in the Mediterranean and North Europe, will launch its seasonal Black Sea reefer service.
Seago said in a statement that the weekly loop will have a rotation of Mersin, Turkey; Ashdod, Israel; Novorossiysk, Russia; and Mersin, Turkey.
In addition, the Black Sea reefer service will add a call to Alexandria, Egypt on a later stage. As in past seasons the focus of the Black Sea service was to service exporters and importers of perishable goods with fast, safe and reliable transportation from southern Turkey, Israel into the southern Russian market via the port of Novorossiysk.
The commencement date, which has not been released, will be communicated shortly.
