Updated "CosMed" Israel-Tyrrhenian weekly service

Following the announcement made by Cosiarma that its Israel - Tyrrhenian service would cease operation, an updated joint venture "CosMed" service, operated by Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. and Cosco / Carmel International Shipping Services, have commenced a new joint Israel-France-Italy full container service.

The new container service is replacing the companies' current slotcharter arrangement with Cosiarma, which used the on-deck box space of two TEU 900 /460,000 cu.ft. hybrid reefer ships.

The service will be operated by two container vessels: "ROMY TRADER" (IMO: 9150080, MMSI: 236576000) built 1991-2000, registered in Gibraltar and "MONSUN" (IMO: 9388417, MMSI: 305138000) built 2000-2010, a Container ship registered in Antigua and Barbuda.

The rotation of the two container vessels will be unchanged, except for Marseilles replacing the dominant reefer port of Sete and reads: Haifa, Ashdod, Fos, Genoa, Naples and Haifa again.
