Israeli container shipping line Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. is continuing to offer Far East-North Europe services, albeit a reduced number of sailings, despite its announced "withdrawal" from the trade in April, and as spot freight rates fall.

Following the closure in May of the weekly Far East-Europe service, which it jointly operated with CSCL (AEX-1), it is still offering monthly ad hoc sailings.

Zim operates these monthly sailings with vessels ranging in size from TEU 4,600 to TEU 10,000.

Last April Zim stops its participation as an operator on the service Far East AEX-1. The last voyage for Zim left Qingdao on 18th April. United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) replaced Zim on China Shipping Container Lines' (CSCL) Asia-North Europe AEX 1 service from the end April as part of their plan to start more closely cooperating on this trade.
