Israel Chamber of Shipping presented Mr. Jacky Allalouf, president of the Allalouf Group with a symbol of appreciation in honor of the Allalouf Group’s 90th anniversary.
The presentation took place during the gala dinner of the 2009 PORT2PORT Annual Trade, Transport & Logistics Conference & Exhibition held last week. Allalouf & Co. Shipping Ltd. is one of the largest shipping agencies in its spheres of activity. Drawing on a tradition going back many years, Allalouf is now one of the longest-established companies in the Israeli shipping sector.
A privately- and family-owned company, it was established in Greece in 1919, by Nathan Allalouf. In 1932, they widened their sphere of operations to include pre-statehood Israel. Today, Allalouf is headquartered in Tel-Aviv, with branches in the Israeli ports of Ashdod, Eilat and Haifa.
Allalouf is the Israeli representative of leading international shipping lines, providing them with a wide range of marine transport to many ports and destinations world-wide.
Over the years, Allalouf has entered new fields. Today, the company has a group of subsidiaries that offer its customers full logistic solutions in international forwarding, customs services, overland and air transport, cargo terminals, container repairs, empty container storage, container conversion to homes and offices, and travel agencies.
