OOCL Annouces a Significant Enhancement of It’s Service To / From Israel

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) represented in Israel by "Israel Scandinavian Maritime Agency Ltd" announced a significant improvement in its services connecting Asia and Europe, thereby offering a wider port coverage and shorter transit times to/from Israel. In the new service from the Far-East to Israel, in addition to loop EUM, loop ABX will also call Damietta, enabling OOCL to offer service on a bi-weekly basis, thereby doubling the capacity.  OOCL will also accept cargo from Israel to Turkey, Romania, Ukraine and Russia via Damietta on this service.
 
Asia Black Sea Express (ABX)

 
The rotation will be as follows:
 
Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Damietta -  (T/S)  Haifa/Ashdod - Istanbul (Ambarli) - Constanta - Odessa - Constanta - Istanbul - Damietta -  (T/S)  Haifa/Ashdod  - Singapore - Shanghai.
 
Israel Scandinavian Maritime Agency Ltd announced that the improved service will enable them to accept cargo from/to Australia, New Zealand and India with t/s via Singapore and Damietta. An additional change to the existing EUM service, are direct calls tothe ports of Busan and Chiwan.
 
Asia Med Express (EUM)
 
The rotation will be as follows:
 
Busan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Chiwan - Shekou - Hong Kong - Singapore - Port Klang - Damietta -  (T/S) Ashdod/Haifa - Genoa - Fos - Barcelona - Valencia - Damietta -  (T/S) Ashdod/Haifa - Singapore - Hong Kong - Busan.
 
OOCL will accept cargo to inland destinations in Italy, Spain and France.
 
Asia Europe Direct (AE2)
 
This service will call Cagliari on it's route from North Europe to Asia, enabling OOCL to offer service to Israel from Scandinavia/N.Europe/Baltic ports, including inland destinations.         
 
The rotation will be as follows:
 
Le Havre - Amsterdam - Hamburg - Southampton - Cagliari -  (T/S) Ashdod/Haifa.
 
Shipment to Israel from the following ports will be accepted via Hamburg or Amsterdam:
 
Klaipeda, Helsinki, St.Petersburg, Rauma, Sodertalje, Kotka, Gaevle, Gdansk.
