The Asia Black Sea Express service (ABX) will call at the Egyptian port of Damietta on bi-weekly frequency which will allow doubling the capacity from the Far East to Israel
 
Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), represented in Israel by Israel Scandinavian Maritime Agency Ltd, announced last week changes to its Asia to West Mediterranean Service which will allow the company to upgrade its services to Israel.
 
Within the new service, the company's Asia Black Sea Express (ABX) will call at the Egyptian port of Damietta on bi-weekly frequency which will allow doubling the capacity from the Far East to Israel.
 
Asia Black Sea Express (ABX) will accept export cargo via Damietta to destinations in the Black Sea – Turkey, Ukraine, Romania as well as Russia.
 
ABX new rotation for Israeli export and import cargo, are as follows:
 
In the Far East: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore.
In the Black Sea: Istanbul, Constantsa, Odessa 
 
Israel Scandinavian Maritime Agency Ltd. noted that the revised service will also enable the importing community to benefit from OOCL services from Australia and New Zealand via Singapore.
 
Within the framework of the newly revised service the company has also advised changes in the Asia-West Mediterranean service - EUM service.
 
The port of Chiwan will be added to the existing EUM service, and the new rotation is Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Shekou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Klang, Jeddah, Damietta, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia, Damietta, Singapore, Hong Kong, Busan.
 
The EUM service to and from West Mediterranean will enable the Israeli trading community to import and export cargo from and to Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia aswell as inland destinations in Italy, France and Spain.
 
China Europe Express (EU2) the Asia/North Europe service will call at Port of Cagliari, Sardinia Italy.
 
The current EU2 schedule for rotation is: Kaohsiung - Shekou - Yantian - Hong Kong - Singapore – Le Harve - Amsterdam - Hamburg - Southampton - Cagliari - Jeddah - Jebel Ali - Singapore and Kaohsiung.
 
The current EU2 schedule for rotation is Le Havre – Amsterdam – Hamburg – Southhampton - Cagliari – Ashdod – Haifa
 
Service from the port of Cagliari to Israel will also accept cargoes transshipped at Cagliari from the Baltic Sea, Scandinavia West and Central Europe.
