According to the newspaper articles, Ofer bought 8.7% of Hanjin Shipping from Norwegian shipping tycoon John Fredriksen for $161 million
Israeli newspapers published last weekend articles noting that Sammy Ofer, owner of Zim Integrated Shipping Services, had increased his stake in South Korea’s largest shipping line Hanjin Shipping Co. Ltd to 12%.
According to the newspaper articles, Ofer bought 8.7% of Hanjin Shipping from Norwegian shipping tycoon John Fredriksen for $161 million.
Following the announcement the shares of Hanjin Shipping rose 5.6%.
