The port averaged 27 containers per hour from a single vessel
The Port of Haifa recently set a new productivity record for the Port, loading and discharging an average of 27 containers per hour of ship-to-shore gantry crane from a single vessel.
During May, the port reached a record rate of 28.29 containers per-hour.
The newly set records were reached due to a newly installed state of the art computer control software developed by the port, enabling real time tracing of problems and react immediately.
