An al-Qaeda-linked group, Ansar Beit al-Maqdis, ("Faithful Jerusalem"), considered to be the main terrorist organization operating in the Sinai Peninsula, and considered to be the leading group fighting the Egyptian army, has threatened to carry out fresh attacks on the Red Sea port of Eilat.
