Major-General (res.) Moshe Ivri-Sukenik was unanimously nominated by the board as chairman of the Haifa port company, replacing acting Chairman of the Board, Oren Milstein.
A former top Israel Defense Forces, commander of the Northern Corps, head of the Ground Forces Command, Ivri-Sukenik also served as military attache' in the United States .
Sukenik holds a BA in History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Political Science from the University of Haifa. His formal nomination should be approved by the ministers of Transportation and Finance.
