Prestigious Award for "MSC Israel" & "Orian" forwarding and customs clearing agent

MSC Israel Ltd. and Orian Ltd. won last week Ashdod port's marine community awards. The awards were given to the companies by H.E. Shaul Mofaz, Minister of Transport, Ashdod port chair person Mrs. Shtark and Ashdod CEO Mr. Shuki Sagis, during the port's annual conference.
 
The awards were given to the companies for having increased their financial turnover through the port, compared to last year.
 
In a statement issued by the port it was noted that unlike last year this year the prize was divided into two categories: best performing ship-agents and customs clearing agents.
 
The award to MSC was given to Mr. Edni Simkin Director General of MSC Israel. MSC is rated as the second largest shipping companies in the world. As of Mid October '06, MSC was operating 309 container vessels with an intake capacity of 975,000 TEUs. The company operates three weekly services to Israel from North Europe, Far East and the Mediterranean.
 
The award to Orian was given to Mr.Chen Lamdan Director General of Orian. Orian is one of Israel’s major logistic services companies and a leader in the field. The company offers every available supply chain management solution under one roof - as a One Stop Shop.
