An Israeli heavy weight record was registered last week in Columbia. M/V Cape More, owned by "Mano Shipping" loaded 186,552 tons of coal at Dermond port in Columbia. According to port authorities the vessel is the largest vessel ever to call at the port

An Israeli heavy weight record was registered last week in Columbia. M/V Cape More, owned by "Mano Shipping" loaded 186,552 tons of coal at Dermond port in Columbia. According to port authorities the vessel is the largest vessel ever to call at the port.
 
Loading of coal at the port is carried out by specially designed floating cranes.

The coal is imported by Israel's National Coal Company for the two coal burning electricity stations in Israel.
 
The 200,000 dwt bulk carrier M/V Cape More, is 300 meters long and 47.5 meters wide and has 23 crew on board. The vessel operates under time charter to the Israeli National Coal company until 2008.
