ZIM and Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), one of the world’s largest IT services firms, have recently signed a service agreement contract for ZIM's "AgenTeam project", as part of ZIM's IT development plan.
The agreement, signed by TCS VP Mr. Gabriel Rozman and ZIM CIO Mr Dudi Avni, covers ZIM's “AgenTeam" project, and will provide deployment services for the project on its global rollout program. The "AgenTeam" platform is based on a home-grown Power Builder solution and SAP.
Titled “AgenTeam Deployment Project” by TCS, The rollout scope covers more than 70 countries and approximately 120 locations. The global rollout program will help ZIM achieve the strategic objective of implementing global ‘Best Practices’ in all its locations worldwide. The AgenTeam rollout project will be supported from the TCS Mumbai Transportation delivery center.
ZIM's extensive IT development effort is an integral part of the company's growth strategy, aimed at strengthening ZIM's position as a leading global carrier.
